I had a bunch of people requesting to know 25 things about me on Facebook. And I finally did it. I figure if there was ever a place to post 25 random things about myself, it was here, so here they are.
1. I love to dance.
2. including line dancing.
3. I am in love and sometimes it scares me.
4. I got really lucky as far as families go. Mine is amazing.
5. My family has a bird that can sing the Andy Griffith theme song and the Mexican hat dance, but he hasn’t practiced much and so sometimes he gets confused and mixes them together.
6. At one time in the house where I grew up there were 4 dogs, 3 cats, 2 birds, a fish tank with 3 fish, a rat that had a tumor, a pond full of goldfish and 2 frogs, and a partridge in a pear tree.

7. I get afraid to talk about really good things for fear of jinxing them.
8. I am a nerd and hope I own it as well as my sister.
9. I cannot spell.
10. I try to recognize negative energy and avoid it.
11. My siblings amaze me all the time.
12. My mom taught me to take “mental-health days” when I was in elementary school.
13. On my field hockey team, I once received an award for “Best late attendance.” It fit. But I am working on being more on time.
14. I love hiking.
15. I love traveling.
16. I have learned some of the most important lessons in my life while living in other countries.
17. I take class notes on paper with a pen.
18. I can be completely happy with a backpack riding in the back of a pickup down an unpaved road.
19. One of my favorite things is reading the NYT in bed while drinking coffee.
20. I read a lot.
21. I think living in NYC is hard, but it is also pretty awesome.
22. I like museums.
23. I want to leave a good mark on the world.
24. Besides good dance music if I am dancing, I don’t really care what kind of music I am listening to, mostly I like music that excites other people. Sometimes I fear that my lack of preference in this area means I am not a passionate person.
25. I found this whole list incredibly difficult, and the pressure of coming up with one last item is positively overwhelming, so I am leaving it at this.
