The weather in NYC is crappy and rainy right now, but it has been sunny and in the 80s recently, which has been bringing me endless joy, so I guess I have to put up with a bit of rain. Anyway, here is a picture from the shenanigans on the roof at the end of the all beer day fest over Labor Day weekend. I live in a pretty cool building.

Hi erin– I just came upon your bookmarked site== and I was glad to hear about your experiences settling in with Spot in Manhattan— we took Claire down to Baltimore over Labor Day and she has started classes at Johns Hopkins– I am still adjusting to her being gone, but she is sounding great=== loves her roommate, her classes, her professors, etc== so that is all good. I will let you know when we next get down to New York– and if you and Spot feel like a weekend away in the country, we could figure something out–

Great to hear from you. I’m glad to hear that Claire seems to be settling in so well. Johns Hopkins huh? Nice choice. Definitely let me know if you are ever in the city, I would love to meet up. Spot and I seem to be handling the city life pretty well so far (she loves her multiple walks along river side park every day) but I will let you know if we ever need to go running for the sanctuary of nature.
